Production of first ceramic capillaries and precision parts using the CIM (Ceramic Injection Molding) process.

SPT Asia Pte Ltd. in Singapore is founded and starts manufacturing and selling semiconductor tools for the Asian market.

Foundation of Moldinject Ltd. (CIM/MIM) and acquisition of Perfectamould AG (injection mold construction) in Switzerland. Joint move into the newly built production building in Lyss, Switzerland.

Founded Small Precision Tools (Phils) Inc. in Manila/Philippines and started manufacturing and selling semiconductor tools in the Philippines.
